The “DUtopia” project aims to invest in sustainable development through the education of the target group, including primary and secondary school students, teachers, members of NGOs, and volunteers. The partnership between the public and civil sectors aims to raise awareness about sustainable development. Project challenges include public misinformation, a lack of quality projects for sustainable development, poor waste management, a lack of infrastructure support for tourism, and a shortage of volunteers and extracurricular activities for children and youth.

Project activities include education, eco workshops, volunteer activities, and promotional activities. Expected changes include increased awareness among children, youth, and citizens of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County about sustainable development principles. The project will contribute to strengthening the capacities of the applicant, and the acquired knowledge will be transferred to a broader geographical area.
